MeetMaurice Owen-Michaane

Maurice Owen-Michaane is a lifelong New Yorker, who moved to Pelham Manor with his young family several years ago.

Maurice and his family love Pelham Manor. Maurice is an active member of the Pelham Community, including as a current member of the Pelham Manor Zoning Board, a Leader for Siwanoy Cub Scout Pack 4, member of the Pelham Civic Association, Assistant Coach for Flag Football & Pelham Little League, and former Site Based Council for Siwanoy Elementary School.

Maurice's love for his community is the main reason he is running forre-election as Pelham Manor Trustee. Since he moved here, he has continuously attended the Board of Trustee Meetings, and then provided written summaries for the community in an effort to engage the community as a whole.

In addition to his civic engagement, Maurice & his family are members of the Pelham Jewish Center & Huguenot Memorial Church. Maurice also serves on the Executive Committee of the Alumni Council of his alma mater, Hamilton College, as well as the Class of 2003 President, a post in which he has served since 2003. Maurice became an Eagle Scout in 1998, and is a Lifetime Member of the National Eagle Scout Association.

Maurice's passion is his Real Estate career as the Broker/Owner of Capital Realty NY, serving the New York City and Westchester real estate markets.  With years of experience in the industry, as well as a strong background in finance from his days at Goldman Sachs, Maurice works with buyers, sellers, investors, and landlords, combining personalized client-focused services with a positive attitude to consistently deliver tailor made results for his clients.

Maurice graduated from Hamilton College with a B.A. in Government, and from the Zicklin School of Business Honors MBA Program at Baruch College with an M.B.A. in Finance.
