Meet Timothy M. Case

A Pelham Manor resident for nearly twenty-five years, Tim proudly serves as Trustee and Fire Commissioner for the Village of Pelham Manor. He is delighted to run for re-election in the Village where he has raised his family.

Tim has an impressive record of service to the community, including substantial municipal leadership experience. Prior to joining the Pelham Manor Board, Tim served as the Pelham Town Clerk for two years and as a Pelham Town Councilman for eight years. Tim is a long-standing member of the Pelham Civic Association, where he ran fundraising for many years. He currently serves as the President of that organization.

With comprehensive experience in professional accounting and trading, Tim promotes Pelham Manor’s record of fiscal responsibility. He is committed to the Village’s balanced budgets and supports Pelham Manor’s well-established approach of avoiding debt.

Pelham Manor’s public safety efforts are a priority for Tim. He was integrally involved in the Village’s comprehensive review of the Vehicle and Traffic section of the Village Code, voting to reduce Pelham Manor’s speed limit from 30 to 25 mph and add approximately 50 stop signs across the Village. Tim also actively supports Pelham Manor’s robust complement of environmental and sustainability initiatives and remains committed to infrastructure improvements for both the stormwater and sanitary sewer conveyance systems.

As the Board of Trustees’ Liaison to the Pelham Manor Fire Department (PMFD), Tim works closely with the Village administration and the Fire Chief. He champions the PMFD’s advanced training and public education programs, especially those in our elementary schools. Recently, he collaborated with the Fire Chief and the Village Manager to budget for a new tower ladder with updated, critical rescue features. He is incredibly proud that the PMFD earned an upgraded International Insurance Offices Public Protection Classification for its delivery of fire suppression services, placing it among the top 17% of fire departments nationwide and top 4% in New York State. Tim is grateful for Pelham Manor’s highly competent career and volunteer firefighters and regularly attends professional events in support of these dedicated first responders.

An active father, Tim has coached a variety of Pelham Little League and Pelham Youth Hockey teams. Professionally, Tim has worked as an accountant and in financial services, running the trading desk for a multi-billion dollar hedge fund for 10 years. Tim is a graduate of SUNY Geneseo, with a degree in Accounting, and passed the CPA exam. Tim is married to Joanne, who is active in several local organizations. They are the loving parents of Brad (28), Will (25) and Timmy, a tenth-grade student at PMHS. The Case family is excited about two upcoming weddings in the near future!
